This is just a reminder of the things that our government has done in the past to instill fear in the people. Of course, never forgetting that they are the remedy for such fears, and their remedies for these fears that they drum up are just as stupid as they are today:

My personal favorite is the "ductape and plastic" directions. Personally, I thought this one could be best applied, and I said so, by marching to Washington and using it on the Cabinet:
My final point being, should you really listen to or trust anyone, even a government with quack remedies like this? Personally, should you listen to anything that they have to say about your safety and impending danger? I think not, and this is double true in regard to any of their remedies like - preemptive war, the suspension of habeas corpus, and the application of torture, etc. I am sure you get my meaning.
